The Easter Seals program
is a particular favorite of the Club. A later Corinthian Women's silent auction and luncheon brought in more revenue for this worthy cause.
Master Mariners Benevolent Association
Wooden Boat Show
Supporting multiple goals of preserving the wonderful wood boats that ply our waters and supporting educational programs, the MMBA holds its annual Wooden Boat Show in our harbor. This scenic event draws enthusiasts, dabblers and gawkers young and old from around the bay and serves a wonderful educational function. Our friends at SFYC help us by hosting our harbor tenants who make room for the show.
Tiburon International Film Festival Understanding the world through filmĀ®
That's what they say, and for five years they've been meeting that goal. For the last two years, we've turned our ballroom over to TIFF, converting it into Tiburon's largest theater. Oh sure, we don't have those fancy theater chairs, but we sure enjoy the thought-provoking shows and fascinating talks from the visiting producers. See them in 2009.
Belvedere-Tiburon Library
We consider our local library a jewel. A group of members led by John Colver banded together to sponsor two holes at the Belvedere-Tiburon open.
Women's Sailing Seminar
Promoting our mission of sailing education, our own Corinthian Women have created an introductory/intermediate sailing seminar for women. Now in its third decade, the two-weekend class features customized teaching materials, classroom instruction, and time on the water followed by a nice party. The classes are in May and are open to all interested women!

Opening Day on the Bay and Blessing of the Fleet
This ceremony commemorates the traditional opening of sailing season with a religious service, breakfast, and a multi-faith blessing of all pleasure craft on the bay, conducted from a Coast Guard vessel anchored off CYC. The EmCee is convinced that there is a humorous potential in a rabbi, a priest, and a minister on a boat together, but he has yet to articulate it.
