Corinthian Midwinters
The Midwinter regatta wrapped up with great weather and happy sailors. Go to the article for links to photos.
The first installment of the Corinthian Midwinters saw light winds throughout the weekend, but the most experienced CYC Skippers still managed to make it around the course where others could not.  The most exciting moments of the weekend came when over a hundred boats slowly converged on the same leeward mark, which was followed by a freighter that somehow managed to navigate through the middle of all those boats at full speed.

The Midwinter's concluded on February 20 and 21 with a challenging trip to Southhampton on Saturday and the long-awaited westerly finally filling in on Sunday. Congratulations to David Halliwill for the best performance by a CYC skipper and to Glenn Isaacson for the best overall performance. Some great shots of the action by Louis Benainous can be found by clicking HERE. More shots can be found by Roxanne Fairbairn DAY3, and DAY4.
More from Leslie Richter can be found HERE.
