Just a quick reminder (or first notice, if you are not checking the club calendar, the Dining Room will not be in service Friday through Sunday.

This is in support of the ancient Cooks & Waiters gentlemen's event. The event is ancient. Not the Gentlemen. Well mostly anyway. Anyway, the theory is that the cooks and waiters get the weekend off and the gents cook for themselves.

The club RE-OPENS to the general membership SUNDAY, with a CHili Cookoff in the bar. Contact the Commodore to enter the fest. Come by to enter, or to sample, or just to have a beer and watch the game. Giants v. Patriots, and Chili too. Yumm. Or do you just watch for the ads?

For those looking for a dining experience, we're hoping someone tries the new restaurant on Ark Row and lets us know what they think. Of course, Rooney's, Sam's, Ginza, and Sweden House beckon with their fare as well. Oh, and Guaymas. And Mings.
