Notice

The race is organized by the Corinthian Yacht Club of San Francisco. It shall be conducted according to the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 and shall take place July 4, 2008. The race is open only to boats registered for the CYC Friday Night series 2008 and other Corinthian Yacht Club boats that have submitted an entry form by noon on July 4th. The race shall be scored under PHRF or one-design rules as appropriate and as further specified in the Sailing Instructions currently in effect for Friday Night races. The Race Committee may modify ratings, and may assign ratings to boats without 2007 or 2008 YRA PHRF certificates or established one-design ratings. There is no entry fee for this race.

Race

Races, divisions and courses will be as indicated in the Friday Night Sailing Instructions, adjusted to a "first gun" at 12:55 (versus 18:25 for the Friday races). Trophies will be awarded based on the low point scoring system (RRA Appendix A) as further described in the Sailing Instructions

Place

The race will commence in the waters off the Corinthian Yacht Club and finish off the CYC race deck. The race will take place entirely within San Francisco Bay.
