Notice

The regatta is organized by the Corinthian Yacht Club of San Francisco.  It shall be conducted according to the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 (RRS) and shall take place April 5, 2008, with the first gun at 11:55.  The regatta is open only to Corinthian Yacht Club boats that have submitted an entry form by 10:30 (prior to the Skipper's meeting) on the day of the event.  The regatta will comprise multiple short races and will be scored under PHRF or one-design rules as appropriate and as further specified in the Sailing Instructions.  The Race Committee may modify ratings, and may assign ratings to boats without 2007 or 2008 YRA PHRF certificates or established one-design ratings.

Races

There will be several races depending on conditions, with divisions as determined by the race committee based on entrants, around marks in Raccoon Strait, with both windward and leeward finishes.Overall Winners for the regatta will be determined based on the low point scoring system (RRA Appendix A) with one throw-out. The standings in the day's regatta will be counted as a single race in the Corinthian Challenge series.

Place

The races will commence in the waters off the Corinthian Yacht Club and finish off the CYC race deck.  The races will take place entirely within sight of the CYC clubhouse if the tide is cooperative.
