“The Baja HaHa: 10 Years of Fun and Friends”

The Corinthian Yacht Club is proud to announce that Richard Spindler, founder of Latitude 38 and the Baja Ha-Ha, will be speaking in person at the Corinthian Yacht Club on Thursday, August 14. You are cordially invited to meet and hear one of the most influential sailors on the planet during this special evening. Having kicked around the waterfront for several years, Richard founded Latitude 38 in 1977 at the age of 29. His Sausalito-berthed Bounty II was his office, and 26 years later, Richard is still inspiring sailors the world over to get out there. In 1994, he started the Baja Ha-Ha cruisers rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, where over a thousand boats have slipped their lines and headed south over the years. Richard will make you laugh, and may just inspire you to join the fun!

The doors will open at the club at 6pm, and a buffet ($10/person) and a no-host bar will be available. Richard will start his talk around 7:00, and we expect to wrap up around 9:00. Admission is only $10 per person, and all proceeds will go to The Corinthian Women, supporting all Bay Area women sailors through on-the-water educational opportunities.
