Tell us what you think - CYC Theater Nights Survey

Your CYC entertainment committee is considering organizing "Theater Night" events, and we want to know if you think it's a good idea and would participate. Other yacht clubs have done theater nights for years with great success.

Here's how it works. We buy tickets to musicals, concerts and plays on a group basis. The discount is 25% - 30% off the box office price, and seats are always the best, usually orchestra center. We start with a group dinner (and wine) at the club, and then get onto a comfortable bus to be dropped off right in front of the theater. The bus then picks us up after the performance and takes us back to the club. All for about $110 - $125 per person depending on the show.

Theater nights would always be on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, which insures us the best seats and does not conflict with weekend club events. We would probably limit an event to the first 50 or whatever a bus will hold. So what do you think?
