The Corinthian Women's Sailing Seminar -- Spring 2004
May 1-2 & May 15-16, 2004

Featuring: "More Time on the Water than Ever"

The Women’s Sailing Seminar series is known around the Bay Area as one of the premier instructional experiences. Women of all ages and levels are welcome. The seminars are designed to:

  • introduce women to the art and sport of sailing
  • allow participants to master some basic skills in a non-threatening, supportive environment
  • provide an opportunity for women sailors to network and meet other sailors (if you are interested in the Corinthian Friday night races, this is a great place to meet people)
  • allow experienced sailors the chance to share their wisdom and mentor new women sailors

Instructors are experienced club members and guest speakers from the Bay Area sailing community. All instructors and skippers have a keen interest in sharing their knowledge and helping others experience the joy and wonder of sailing. Now is the time for you to finally cross this off your “to do” list.

BOTH SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE ARE THE GOALS OF THIS COURSE !

THE CORINTHIAN WOMEN PRESENT THE 2004 WOMEN’S SAILING SEMINARS

Once again The Corinthian Women welcome all women sailors at any level of experience, from novice to advanced, to participate in our annual sailing courses which focus on sailing from a woman’s perspective.

This is an event that is educational as well as FUN, providing a supportive (no yelling!) and non-threatening environment for women to learn confidence on the water as well as the specific skills involved in the art and sport of sailing.

You’ll be able to network with other women who have the same interests and concerns, with whom you will share creative problem-solving techniques.

Attend just one or both sessions. Illustrated books will be provided.

Classroom instruction by experienced club members and guest speakers will begin at 9:00 am each Saturday and Sunday.

Gourmet lunches will be served on the boats during an afternoon of on-the-water instruction in keelboats. Saturdays will end with a casual review of the topics covered, Sundays with a graduation reception.
