Cruise Outs

CYC has a very active cruising program where members, as a group, take their boats, both sail and power, to destinations in the Bay, the Delta and beyond for a weekend or even longer. Cruise “outs” at Corinthian are popular because of the opportunity to socialize and party with fellow members, and make new friends. All of the cruise destinations are different, interesting, fun, and include other yacht clubs, marinas, Angel Island, the Delta, and even anchor outs.



Cruises are organized by the Cruise Chairs and individual volunteer Cruise Leaders. We typically do at least one cruise a month starting in April and usually ending with the “7-Star” cruise at Tinsley Island in the Delta, in October. All of the cruises include cocktail parties, dinners at other clubs or local restaurants, visits to local attractions, games, and even dancing depending on the venue. Everyone, including kids, is included and welcome. Not everyone has a boat or for other reasons can’t use their boat for a scheduled cruise, so we encourage “Land Cruisers” to come by car and participate in the activities. Some cruise locations even have nearby hotels.
