On the Water

As a yacht club the primary focus of the Corinthian is to encourage a passion for boating, to include the art of handling vessels and even the science of navigation. The club sponsors approximately 50 days of racing a year, as well as monthly cruise outs to destinations throughout San Francisco Bay and the Delta.

The club offers sailing seminars, most notably the Women’s Sailing Seminar, which for 30 years has focused on women teaching women. This seminar is open to non-members.

Member Day on the Bay is a monthly event held from April through October where CYC boat owners offer to take other members out for an afternoon, allowing members to experience many different types of yachts.

And once a year the club acknowledges a member who personifies “The Corinthian Spirit” on the water.
