I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on Saturday, May 22nd. The people at Corinthian were so helpful in planning the event. Zoe the event manager and John the general manager were great to work with, as planning a party during Covid was a challenge. Zoe in particular was very patient as I sorted through what was feasible given Marin guidelines.

The view speaks for itself, but the food was really high quality, especially considering that they were serving a larger group of people. The plated dishes as well as the passed hors d'oeuvres were all delicious. All of the guests commented on how good the food was. The bartenders and servers were really great, both personable and service oriented. I also had several items delivered for the event and everything went off without a hitch.

I am so glad I chose CYC for the venue. As I imagined how I wanted the evening to go I don't think it could have been any better.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Corinthian Yacht Club on Nov. 1, 2019 and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From its view and atmosphere to its downtown proximity and dining service there is no better venue in Marin County. All of our guests - especially those who were visiting for the first time - were completely blown away by the Corinthian Yacht Club and its stunning sweeping views of the city, Angel Island and the beauty of the San Francisco Bay. Zoe (our special events contact) was superb in every way and we sincerely appreciated her partnership and professionalism. We are also grateful to Mallory Miya Photography for helping us capture our special day, and to The Flaming O's band for helping us dance the night away. "My husband and I got married here on October 9! It has an absolutely breathtaking view, especially during sunset. My wedding had 125 people and we had plenty of space. I would say that at 175 it would start to feel crowded but it would still be so able. The venue has really big windows and you can look out to San Francisco skyline. It has a large dark fireplace that some may be turned off by, but you can make the fireplace into a beautiful focal point if you decorate it with flowers and candles! Definitely recommend this venue!"

Our reception was magical thanks to the beautiful views and venue, the exceptional service and staff, the great attention to detail that the CYC team took during planning, the delicious food and reasonable cost (considering the SF Bay Area). CYC was the perfect location with views of the GG bridge and SF, but without the chaos of the city. Our guests still rave about how much they loved our wedding, and we did too. "We had our wedding and reception at the Corinthian Yacht Club, and it was magical, elegant and everything we wanted. We did photos on the dock and the secret beach. The ceremony was on the sun porch, surrounded on 3 sides by views of the bay, the city and the setting sun. We had cocktails on the open deck, before dinner in ballroom under streamers of twinkling lights. The food was superb, from the trays of tiny hors d'oeuvres brought to the wedding party hiding backstage, to the perfectly cooked steaks, to the vegan options. We used their wines (they had a good range of nice varietals ), but brought our own champagne (it was worth the corkage fee for a better champagne ). All the staff were welcoming, professional and very helpful, particularly since we didn't have a traditional wedding planner. **2 happily wed lesbians**"

"Our daughter and son in law held their wedding reception at this lovely, classic yacht club last July 2015. Our daughter wanted a romantic, historical destination setting and the Corinthian Yacht Club delivered beautifully.

We worked closely with the Corinthian staff and vendors. They were all exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and very patient. They helped us to develop a delicious sit down dinner for 150 lucky guests and were 100% on top of all the details from set up to pull down. The food and wine were exceptional and nothing can beat the glorious views of the San Francisco Bay and the City from the deck and enclosed veranda. We highly recommend this venue for its unique setting, it's professional staff, delicious food and beautiful Tiburon destination location. "We are members of the Corinthian Yacht Club and recently had our daughter's wedding reception there (in the ballroom upstairs.) 1st we got a wonderful discount on the space for being Club members, (non-members can also rent the space for the full fee). After having priced quite a few venues in Marin, nothing came close to the ambiance and price that we got with the Corinthian. The event coordinator and her assistant were wonderful to work with. Again, the guests were wowed by the view and the beautiful set up of the ballroom. We've been getting feedback and keep hearing best wedding reception EVER from friends and family alike. Would definitely use the ballroom again should the occasion arise. We couldn't have gotten any closer to a "perfect" wedding reception, just fabulous!!"

"The Corinthian Yacht Club is beautiful. The view is stunning and it is perfectly placed in downtown Tiburon. We held our wedding weekend in Tiburon and it was magical. We live in San Francisco, but celebrating in Tiburon made it feel like a destination wedding.

We selected CYC for our reception for two reasons. (1) the views and classic feel of the venue and (2) the Director of Catering is phenomenal! From our first tour of the space to the night of our wedding she helped us with so many details. She also suggested the venue for our ceremony, The Lyford House, which my husband and I fell in love with, but wouldn't have found without Alicia. Her assistant Jessica is wonderful as well. They are both easy to work with, incredibly knowledgable and very responsive. This is a special place with a great team!"

"After looking at numerous venues for our daughter's wedding reception we chose CYC and are we ever glad we did. The staff did a wonderful job throughout the evening and we have received many compliments on everything from the food to the service to the amazing views. (The view of the beautiful San Francisco skyline from the women's restroom is quite a nice surprise!) It does not matter what type of event you are planning, for the premier location in the Bay Area it is hard to surpass the overall experience that you will find at the Corinthian Yacht Club. It starts with planning and the events team make the process simple and efficient. The suggestions and and overall experience with event coordination were right on target for our event and are a compliment to this historic bay side location. Our 200 guests on a beautiful September evening expressed to me how much the enjoyed the great food, fantastic views, and the inside and outside venues. The Corinthian, with out a doubt was the right choice for our event, I sincerely hope you can make it the right choice for yours.

Corinthian Yacht Club was a wonderful choice for our Son's Bar Mitzvah. After a number of months spent on researching for perfect Venue and Menu we found CYC to be a great combination of both. The view did not heart the decision making either. The staff were great support before, during and after the event.

We spoke to a team of individuals that helped us make the right choices for the menu, bar and décor. CYC list of preferred vendors helped out on finding a baker for our event.

All of our choices and recommendations turned out to be exceptional and well worth the drive from Peninsula. We would recommend Corinthian Yacht Club for any and all occasions. With spectacular view, wonderful menu, and exceptional staff support you cannot go wrong.

We are still trying to relive every moment of our amazing wedding at CYC! We were struggling to find the right place where we wanted to celebrate our wedding - and when we walked into CYC we just knew. The views speak for themselves. We initially wanted to get married in SF but the venue sizes and cost were challenging. The CYC provided us views of the city we love while also giving us the opportunity to host everyone in quaint Tiburon - almost everything in walking distance, including the after party at Sam's.

We had our ceremony at the Landmark Art & Garden Center because we wanted to be outside - most people seem to host their ceremony at St. Hillary's which is even closer. We hosted family/friends at the Lodge and Waters Edge - and with overnight parking across the street and the ferry in walking distance it gave our friends in SF an easy way to get to Tiburon with a taxi ride back.

Overall, the weekend couldn't have been easier on everyone and that's in large part to the amazing staff. Everyone was so nice and easy to work with - they want to go out of their way to turn their space into a place that reflects you. Plus, the food was absolutely delicious. We got a ton of compliments on the food and the wine CYC provides is very tasty. We went through more than a few bottles :-). We'll forever have Tiburon as our wedding town and the memories of an amazing day on the Bay thanks to CYC.

"My husband and I had our wedding at CYC this past weekend, and we honestly could not have been happier with our venue selection. Not only is CYC in an ideal location, with the most breathtaking and picturesque views, but it was by far the easiest and most accommodating venue to work with. We looked at dozens of other venues after our engagement, and it was a no-brainer when we finally checked out the Corinthian. The event coordinator there, is truly one of the most positive, thorough, organized, and easiest people to work with! She was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the entire planning process, always super responsive, and incredibly accommodating with our requests. You can tell she is highly experienced as a wedding coordinator. She truly made our wedding planning experience, and our actual wedding, PERFECT, and she makes you feel like she is on your team the entire time. I can honestly say we did not have one issue the day of our wedding, and she is largely to thank for this...we cannot recommend her enough! We had dozens of guests tell us after our wedding that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Not only that, we had dozens of people tell us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The chef here is phenomenal and they definitely do not serve your typical "wedding food" fare. We opted to do food stations instead of a formal sit down, and the Corinthian made it work perfectly. The space is amazing for a large party (we had 200), they offer both an indoor and outdoor area, and the venue is very flexible in terms of additional requests. We got married at Old St Hilarys on the hillside of Tiburon, which is less than 1/2 mile from the Corinthian and within walking distance. All of our guests stayed at the two hotels in Tiburon, that are also both within walking distance, and our after-party was held right next door at Sam's. Logistically, this venue is a dream, and visually, it is SPECTACULAR, with views of the entire SF city skyline, the GG Bridge, Angel Island...you get SO much for your money with this location. Our experience was so positive here, we would recommend this place to anyone...I honestly don't think there is a better wedding location venue, for the price and the beautiful setting, than the Corinthian Yacht Club. Our wedding here was truly magical."

"I hosted my wedding at the CYC in August 2014 and we could not have selected a better venue. I was so pleased with our choice for a number of reasons:

The venue itself -- The views are spectacular. Our guests were so impressed by the beautiful views of SF but also of Tiburon & Belvedere. In addition to the ballroom, you guests also have a very large outside patio to mingle on, a spacious bar area and a solarium where they can hang out and check out the views. With a space like that you do not need to do much decorating.

The food -- The food is very tasty and also reasonably priced. We received many compliments on the cocktail hour, especially the crab cake station.

"This place was an absolutely stunning venue. From the moment our guests arrived, they were in awe. The staff was professional, the guests were fed well, and everyone had a magical time.

We went with several of the recommended vendors, Jill Branch for our Cake, Susan Barton for our flowers, and Joanna Minna for our day of coordinate (Stacey & Co.). I can't recommend them enough. Planning a wedding is not an easy task, but we couldn't ask for more working with this team. If this venue is available on the date that you want, book it quick!"

"We just had our wedding at the Corinthian Yacht Club on July 26th, 2014. We are still registering the fact that it's over! I wanted to be sure to acknowledge how amazing the Corinthian Yacht Club has been.

One thing I learned early on in the planning process is that almost all vendors are pretty good at what they do, but it's really important that you like the person you'll be working with because you'll be interacting with them a lot!

The venue really speaks for itself. It's pretty jaw dropping. We were very hesitant about doing a yacht club wedding and cringed a little every time we told people that, but it was not stuffy or pretentious at all! We wanted more of a Marin vibe, on the rustic side, and I think we really achieved that. It is unmistakably a yacht club but has lots of character not to mention that the maritime theme is very appropriate. Did I mention how awe-inspiring the view is? Even the view from the bathroom is gorgeous. We also loved the old-fashioned stage, which was a great platform for our stellar band assembled by Adam Donald Entertainment.

We received lots of compliments on the food. People were raving about the cheese station. I had the airline chicken and thought it was delicious. Our tasting was one of the best days of our engagement. :)

The staff were sweet (everyone individually congratulated me), prompt and friendly.

People something always goes wrong on your wedding day and to be prepared, but really, everything was perfect!"

"I've been at a number of events at the Corinthian Yacht Club and the location is really quite special: The view, the service from the staff and the quality of the facility.

The team is fantastic to work with. Things always run incredibly smooth and go without a hitch. I highly recommend exploring this lovely venue for any sort of special event. Just one look at the photos of the club and you'll see why. Wow.

"I just had my wedding at The Corinthian and I wish I could give more stars -- the venue is a dream and the staff is incredible. Everything exceeded my expectations even though I already had very high expectations based on the planning process. The food was incredible, the raw bar, cheese station - which was tailored to my specific tastes (fresh figs, local goat cheeses, etc) - everything was first class and festive. The majority of our wedding guests came from the East Coast and were blown away by the wedding - from the flow of cocktail hour out on the deck overlooking the Pacific and San Francisco skyline to the gorgeous main room set for dinner underneath a tent-like banner of white lights. First class all the way.

What sets it all apart is working with The Corinthian team. I had such a wonderful experience planning my wedding and was very sad when it was over - it was never stressful. The bartenders were so friendly and fun during the wedding and the wait staff were extremely professional, kind and talented. They have totally got you covered and make for a stress-free, festive and very very special event.

"We were married at the Corinthian in February 2014, it was a wonderful venue for a reception. From the menu planning to the day of execution, the whole event was perfect. The venues views cannot be beat, the food was excellent (can we come back on our anniversary?), and the staff at the bar and tables were very professional and efficient.

"This place does it right. We were looking for a venue that allowed us to showcase our classic style. From the moment we contacted them to the final transaction. Pure class, and customer service were shown. We loved every step of the way. Our special day went off without a hitch. I was never asked a question. The selection chosen for alcohol was raved about for months after the wedding. This was the first reception our guests attended where they "enjoyed the food". "Our local hospital's Auxiliary recently held a "Denim & Diamonds" Ball at the Corinthian Yacht Club and what a fabulous venue! Gorgeous views of San Francisco & the Bay, a marvelous Ball Room with working fireplace at the far end, a great stage for the band or a DJ', a full bar just outside the other end of the Ball Room, a darling little deck for moon/star gazing and a long, windowed gallery just perfect for the "Night Owl (open area) Photo Booth" at the far end to gather as many people as we could for fabulous single, couple or group photos.

The Clubs' Chef & Staff really know how to successfully feed & cater to a large number of guests at one time and we all know that can be difficult to accomplish w/a large group"

"I am in the midst of planning my upcoming June wedding at The Corinthian Yacht Club and so far the experience has been incredible. When people ask me "how are you holding up?" "are things so crazy right now?", I kind of laugh and have no idea what they are talking about. I think it has to do with how seamlessly the events team handles all the details and planning process. I am actually really loving this process right now because the stress if out of it. I couldn't be more excited to host our wedding here -- the venue and view alone speaks for itself but it's the team here that makes this whole wedding planning thing worthwhile!"

"For the couple searching for that perfect wedding venue, the Tiburon Corinthian Yacht Club is in every aspect a dream wedding reception come true. My husband and I have traveled the world over, and have been in so many weddings of friends/relatives for me to own nearly 27 bridesmaid dresses. This is now our turn for this once-in-a-lifetime event! So with high expectations and solid base of experience from others, we began our wedding planning saga with the myriad of choices before us. We envisioned somewhere with shimmery water, spectacular vistas, vintage building with grand ballrooms, elegant fine dining, romantic ambience, amazing activities for our guests. We decided that Tiburon for nearly all of our guests will be a destination in itself, and a nautical-themed wedding at the Corinthian Yacht Club would befit our meeting one another through sailing.

Our wedding was August 24, 2013 at Stanford University Memorial Church, followed by a commute over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Tiburon Corinthian Yacht Club. The ride was a treat already for own-of-town guests! I will never forget the moment when I stepped into the Yacht club ballroom and saw months of planning all come together. In one word: SPECTACULAR! Our guest loved the cocktail & hors d'oeuvres hour with the Crab cake station (manned by a live chef) and the Oyster/Shrimp Bar. They sat with drinks in hand on wicker furniture in a beautifully decorated Solarium with lit Ficus trees, flowers streaming down Greek-like pillars, listening to the String Quartet or gazing at the incredible vista. Their breaths were taken away by the panoramic view of the San Francisco skyline, if not the cool sea breeze from the deck. They admired the beautifully maintained historic Yacht Club, which for our wedding had added perks of recent renovations with a brand new bar area, chandeliers, ginormous new onstage screen. They enjoyed 5 stars service from the extremely attentive CYC staff members. As the guest savored their extensive wine and beverage selections, the children (and a lot of Asians missing the alcohol dehydrogenase gene) LOVED the fancy non-alcoholic drinks that the bar service also took great care in accommodating. The food was sublime--CYC offers extensive choice of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres. The filet mignon, grilled salmon, Portobello steak entrée selections for our wedding were prepared in a manner that one expects from a 5 star restaurant. The hard wood dance floor, a large stage to accommodate a Live Band, and excellent acoustics-- all under CYC's own Tulle and Lights installation made for one memorable night of food and fun!

But why every couple should have their wedding reception at the CYC is the Staff. It is the professionalism, attention-to-detail, pride in their work, genuine care, and "I'm-on-a- mission-to-give- this-couple-their-dream-wedding" attitude, that will forever endear John Nicolai and the CYC staff to our hearts. From the initial food tasting appointment to our dream wedding reception, you all truly made special one of the most important events of our lives."

"A great place to have an event - and what a view! For the 4th time we held our Annual Advocacy Event at the Corinthian Yacht Club (CYC) in Tiburon. This time there was new management staff, but the same exceptional service and care that we have always received - which is what keeps us coming back. They made accomodations for all of our requests, and made them easy. The food was great. That, coupled with the views of San Franciso from the outside deck and sun-room - perfect with the sun setting and the lights of San Francisco twinkling on - will keep our organization returning here year after year.
